Signs to Look Out For:

Blacked-out windows or curtains permanently closed.

Strong, unusual smells – particularly a sweet, herbal scent.

Excessive condensation on windows.

Constant bright light coming from inside, often at unusual hours.

High levels of heat or humidity – sometimes noticeable from outside.

Frequent visitors at odd times or little activity from residents.

Noise from fans or ventilation systems.
